The Local Authority Sponsorship Company (LASC) was established to help local councils in the UK arrange sponsorship agreements with private sector firms, opening up new income streams to support the provision of much needed community services.

The LASC’s sponsorship programme will empower local authorities to:

Increase revenue via sponsorship and donations from the private sector.

Pass costs onto the private sector, taking pressure off already stretched council budgets.

Improve essential local services for the benefit of the communities that they serve, without spending taxpayer’s money.

Sponsorship of services and facilities, whereby the local authority can fund a service in return for a display of the sponsor’s brand. All branding or signage will comply with local government planning rules.

Donation of equipment or services. For example, the filling of potholes and upkeep of local roads, or the provision of equipment for a community recreation area.
